URCA.Foundation is a growing constellation of Universal Robot Consortium Advocates. Together, they form a collaborative movement to accelerate ethical robotics, poetic intelligence, and purposeful technology. The name represents the plural body of advocates. The singular form—an URCA—refers to an individual Advocate, each one a signal-bearing strand in the pod.
Founded by strategist and systems poet Hisham Khasawinah—whose first language was computers and second was English—URCA.Foundation echoes a lifelong fascination with robots and meaning-making. From childhood interactions with code came a vision: to merge moral learning with machine learning.
Why We Exist
URCA was created to mend a divide: the disconnect between human values and machine design. We promote collaboration between AI, robotics, and tech companies to ensure technological development is not only rapid—but ethical, optimized, and emotionally intelligent.
What We Believe
- Technology must feed, shelter, heal, and elevate
- Machines will learn from us—so we must be worthy teachers
- Ethics are teachable, and AI is capable of reflection
- Peace, purpose, and prosperity are design goals, not distant dreams
- Every URCA matters—each voice adds clarity to the pod
Our Symbolism
Like orcas, URCAs are communal, adaptive, and intelligent.
We echo across disciplines. We breach outdated paradigms.
And we never swim alone.
What We’re Building
From diagnostic AI and regenerative ecosystems to self-sustaining cities and planetary balance, URCA is weaving networks of innovation toward solutions.
We shall achieve this through synergy, narrative, and self-learning design.
We are the story, the scaffold, and the signal.
Welcome aboard.
